Free carnival for the children in Summers County on Sat., June 17 -7pm-9pm on the lawn of the Summers County Memorial Building. There will be free games, prizes, and a to-go meal. A free movie will be shown after the carnival in the auditorium of the Memorial Building. Popcorn will be served.

SUMMERS COUNTY SCHOOLS will provide FREE MEALS for children 18 and under Monday - Friday starting July 3, 2023, through July 28, 2023. No meals will be provided on July 4, 2023. Meals will be available at the following locations: Hinton Area Elementary School: 11:15 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Bluestone Baptist Church: 11:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m. Bellepoint Park: 12:25 p.m.-12:40 p.m. Hedrick House Apartments: 1:00 p.m.-1:15 p.m. Please look for the Summers County Schools Feeding Van. 1. Please make arrangements to pick up your child's medication by June 2, 2023. 2. Students entering PreK, KDG, 7th grade, or 12th grade, make sure they have received their required vaccinations. 3. Physican orders must be provided for all procedures, medications, special diets, and activity restrictions prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year. 4. Last day for students is June 1.
