All Summers County schools will be dismissing at 1:30 today due to worsening weather conditions.

All summers county busses will be approximately 25 minutes lates due a traffic incident on 14th Ave. This did not involve a summers county schools vehicle.
There has been a post of a threat on social media to high schools in West Virginia. We are working with the Sherriff's Department to provide precautionary steps to keep our schools safe.
Jesse Weinberger is nationally recognized internet safety speaker. She is the author of The Boogeyman Exists And He's In Your Child's Back Pocket. She will be in Summers County on September 11 at the Ritz in Hinton at 6PM. All parents and adults are welcome to attend.
