All Elementaries, 9-12 ONLY - August 26, 2024
All Elementaries 6-8 ONLY - August 27, 2024
All Elementaries, 6-12 - August 28, 2024
PK-K will start September 3, 2024

Construction update at HAE and SCCHS. Two pictures of renovations at HAE are multi-purpose rm and the restrooms. The restrooms will have dividers placed this coming week. Three pictures of renovations at SCCHS with new carpet in the band rm. and new tile in the MS addition.






Summer school buses are running approximately 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule for evening drop off.

There will be no Retention Prevention class tomorrow, Wednesday July 10, 2024, due to a necessary internet outage. Camp Genius will proceed on a regular schedule.

We would like to congratulate Ben Lane being named MVP of the North /South Game at the Coalfield Conference Senior Showcase. Lane went 2 for 3 with three runs and two RBIs and stole home plate. CONGRATULATIONS Ben!

Free food, fun, bounce house, and games! Freedom Baptist Church will be hosting a carnival on Saturday, June 1 from 1 to 4PM on the Summers County Memorial Building Lawn. Everything is free!

Summers County's Gear Up family engagement event was held at Summers County Comprehensive High School. This program provides support for current seventh and eighth graders to promote postsecondary education and training.



Nathan Angell and Easton Dickenson qualified for the NASP Championship in Daytona, FL June 6-8. Easton is ranked 30th across the nation for high school boys with his personal best score of 295. Congratulations to both of them. Very proud of you.
