My name is Jessica Pack, and I am excited to be part of Jumping Branch Elementary! I grew up in Hinton, received a Bachelor’s Degree at Berea College, and my Masters in Elementary Education from Liberty University. I am certified to teach Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, and Elementary Education. This will be my ninth year teaching and my fifth year teaching preschool.
I have been married for 12 years and have two wonderful little boys who are 6 and 5 years old. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, playing with my children, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to the upcoming school year!

I began my career working at Head Start for 10 years while I was a substitute Aide for SCBOE. For 15 years I have worked full time as a Paraprofessional- Teacher Assistant. I started in special education at SCHS and later in went to HAE in kindergarten and later Talcott elementary in kindergarten. I’m very excited to work at Jumping Branch in Pre-K. I’m married with 3 children and I have 3 grandchildren who hold my heart.

About Me:
Hello ! My name is Melanie Miklos, and this is my 5th year teaching in Summers County. I taught 5th grade for 1 year, and kindergarten for the last 3 years. I am super excited to be teaching kindergarten at Jumping Branch Elementary School this year. I am married with two grown children and two grandchildren. I live in Grandview with my husband and our dog Sadie. I love hiking and traveling and spending time with my family. I can't wait to get to know my students this year and all the families at Jumping Branch Elementary school.

I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them learn. This led me to applying and obtaining a job with the Summers County School System. I began in 1999. I have held several positions; substitute, special education bus/classroom aide, cook, custodian, kindergarten aide before moving on to my current position as the aide in JBE Kindergarten

About Me:
I became a teacher because I believe every child has a right to a safe and enriching school environment and I want to help establish that for children in West Virginia. I want to be someone who my students can trust and rely on; I had many teachers who supported me throughout my own school experience, and I wouldn't be who I am today without them.

About Me:
I am a music teacher for Jumping Branch elementary school and Talcott elementary school. This is my 29th year of teaching at these two schools. Can you believe it? I have probably had a lot of you parents in school. I have always wanted to be a teacher and absolutely love music so I combined the two and here I am. I also have a masters degree in mathematics because that is my other favorite subject.

Ms. Blankenship comes to JBE with 30 years of experience in education. During her time in education, she has been a teacher at all levels from Kindergarten to 12th grade and an elementary school principal. Ms. Blankenship's wealth of knowledge will be an asset to our school and students. JBE is lucky to have her! Hello! My name is Briana Medley. This is my 5th year teaching. Before this year I taught 5th grade for 4 years in Summers County. I will be teaching Title One this year at Jumping Branch Elementary. I am very excited and can’t wait to meet all my students and all the kids at Jumping Branch Elementary! I am sure we will have a great time. I have been married for 5 years and we have a wonderful 2-year-old daughter named Sullivan. Outside of school I love being outside hiking, swimming, kayaking, and spending time with my family.
